DIY Dress: Camryn Pattern | Fabric: Stretch Cotton (similar) | Clutch: old (similar) | Shoes: Steve Madden
I am so excited to share with you my first digital sewing pattern called the Camryn Dress.
I was inspired to make this dress into a pattern because I wanted a dress with a classic silhouette with a touch of sexy.
On occasion, I will step outside of the box with my personal style, but ultimately, I’m a woman who loves the classics with just a touch of spice.
When I first created this dress, I felt amazing. I felt sexy, I felt unstoppable. And that’s how I think a woman should feel when she gets dressed! I truly believe that every woman defines her version of “sexy” and this is mine. So, I created this pattern to reflect that.
The Camryn has a delicate balance of both modesty and sexy. She’s a fully lined, fitted dress designed for woven fabric. I used a stretch cotton from Fabric.com I purchased long ago. I also have another ankara version I will be sharing in my next post that came out beautifully!
The back of the bodice curves downward towards the center back, but is still high enough to wear with a standard strapless bra.She is a digital pattern available for purchase here. It includes a printing directions, sewing instructions, an information page of important info, the pattern in the size group you select, and a sew-along video.
I thank you all for your support in the beginning of a new journey for Style Sew Me. My pattern company is owned by me and completely independent. So, thank you for the support!
