Here’s another vibrant look featuring a gorgeous ankara print from Ankara and Lace. I used the Folake fabric, which has since sold out, but I’ve linked to similar above.

By now, you know that I don’t often reach for prints, especially something so bold. But, when I do use prints, I do try to find prints that don’t feel overwhelming to me. I really liked the brown base in this fabric and felt that it anchored the rest of the color and print down for me.

For this dress, I made View A of my Erin Dress pattern, available here. This view is a very quick sew. You can be done with the sewing, in about 2.5 hours. Winning!

Of course, I’ve already made a solid version in a yummy crepe, that I’ll have to photograph the next time I wear it. Of course, I will share!
