DIY Casual + Comfy Sweater | Vogue 7997

Sweater: Vogue 7997 (OOP) | Fabric: Micheal Levin’s Loft | Denim: NY & Company | Sneakers: Target

Today’s look is super casual and 99% how you will find me on the weekend when I’m with my family. I wore this on a date day with hubs to go eat crawfish while Suga Baby was on a play date. There is nothing more sexy to me than comfort. Every woman’s comfort level will vary. Some are happiest in sneakers and ripped denim (raises hand) and others may feel unstoppable in six inch heels and sparkles. It’s all about what works best for you!I took Vogue 7997 and made some small mods to get this simple look.

  • Added 6 inches to the length

  • Added 3 inches to width for additional ease

  • Skipped the foldover collar

  • Added 3/4 inch elastic along the neckline

I styled this sweater with my favorite ripped denim crops from New York & Company. These are a couple years old. My sneakers are from Target and are super comfy. They remind me a bit of Keds, but they’re not. My sunnies are also from Target and my jewelry is from New York & Company.
