DIY Dress: Erin Pattern Here // Fabric: Linen (here)
Can I be my own goals for a second? I love this dress. LOVE. THIS. DRESS.
I live for anything that allows me to eat one too many cupcakes and not have to worry about a food baby poking through.
I live for a dress with pockets (even if I’ll never use them).
And I live for design details that classic silhouettes and added touch of oomph.
My new Erin pattern is all of the above for me.
This version is View B of my new pattern and probably my personal favorite. (Well, it’ll be my favorite until I wear the other dress because I love that one too.)
I used a yummy linen I found at Fabric Mart and linked it above. Yes, it’s pricier than most linens, but totally worth it. It’s so comfortable to wear. It’s not see through, like some linens. And it’s super easy to cut and sew with.
If you’ve been around, you know that I love a good solid in a fall color palette. But, spring is upon us, so I’ll force myself into brighter colors (maybe even a print!) to make another version of this. I’ve been eyeing this one and this one over at Fabric Mart.
I’ll be sharing individual posts about each view of my new patterns on the blog over the next week, so stay tuned!
