How I Wore It DIY Striped Off the shoulder and Royal Blue Circle Skirt Top: Simplicity 8045 | Midi Skirt: DIY Tutorial here and here | Shoes: Steve Madden Hi there! I’m serving up Flashback Friday with this look. I did a quick refashion of Mimi G.’s Simplicity 8045 that I’d made last year. See my original post here. After wearing that beautiful dress a few times, I decided to cut off the bottom and make it into a top with the full intention of pairing it with bold color bottoms. Both fabrics I used are sold out, but the top came from Mood Fabrics. The skirt fabric was this gorgeous royal blue striped jacquard Maggy London fabric. Love.Since my colors were so rich in this outfit, I kept my shoe neutral with the every-popular Stecy heel from Steve Madden. And I simply love circle skirts, they’re sexy. BTW, I plan on making Ms. Anitra, I’ll keep you posted on that!
