New Spring Pattern: Janelle Skirt by Style Sew Me

Top: Simplicity 1283 | Fabric: Double Knit | Skirt: Janelle pattern | Fabrics : (Solid) Stretch Denim (Printed) Ankara and Lace

Today is so excitiiiiiing (Oprah voice)!

I’m so excited to officially release the new Style Sew Me pattern for the spring! I’d been inspired by this pattern because I love a deep split.

It’s daring and sexy, but it’s balanced out in the classic skirt silhouette. This skirt gives you the option on how high you want your split. For my bolder fashionistas, take the split mid-thigh! And for my classic beauties, you have room to lower your split.

Versatility is key in really making this skirt all your own.I have already made two versions on this skirt and I cannot decide which I love more! My solid version is done in a stretch denim I purchased from Micheal Levine’s.

As I was designing this skirt, I knew that I’d be making a denim version. I can even see this in a distressed denim! My printed version is from my remaining fabric from Ankara and Lace. I’d made another pleated skirt with this fabric and had a little bit left over.

It really brought a kick to the Janelle skirt and I am just in love with it!This pattern is available right now in PDF and printed copies! Printed copies are limited, so don’t wait to grab yours!
