OOTD DIY Striped Cardigan and Neutrals – Madison Cardigan

What I’m Wearing: DIY Cardigan – Madison Pattern \\ Top: (old) \\ Denim: H&M \\ Shoes: Jessica Simpson (old) \\ Bag: Jacque M. Ginger Fanny Pack

Today’s look is all about the neutrals. While this look might be simple for some, it’s the epitome of my style.

I took what could have been a boring outfit and added interest with the texture and print of my DIY cardigan made from my Madison Pattern.

And I added neutral texture with my favorite bag of the moment, my Ginger Fanny Pack. To keep the silhouette of my look, I did a small roll up of my jeans. I think this length is so flattering on me, so I roll my  jeans up when I can.

I hope that you’re enjoying me showing you the many ways that you can style one DIY cardigan pattern. It’s just a great all year around layering piece that can go with you for all occasions.

In the summer, you can make a lighter version to keep in your office, because most offices have the A/C cranking in the summer!

For more inspiration on how to layer your pieces and even some great cardigan and coat pattern suggestions, check out my new Fall Cardigan Style Book post that I shared here.

  • Yes, Eryn! Don’t you feel like a sexy superhero in your Madison cardigan? This is a great piece for all year round, just like you said. I’m thinking of one in black lace…..
