Pattern Review: Butterick 6051

Butterick 6051
I whipped this dress up in view A in one afternoon a few weeks back. I used an ITY jersey knit from fabric.com, but it is no longer listed on the site. (Sawwy!)

Difficulty: Easy

Size and fit: I lengthened the skirt 3 inches to accommodate my height and heels.

I cut the 12, but ended up taking it in with a 1 inch seam allowance at the sides instead of the 5/8″ that’s standard. It’s always best to cut larger and take it in where necessary.

Fabric: Venecia Stretch ITY Jersey Knit Roses Strip Khaki/Pink from Fabric.com. This ITY knit feels fabulous against the skin and doesn’t really need ironing (yay for laziness!).IMG_2338IMG_2339
