Sewing Pattern Reviews Sewing Pattern Review: McCalls 6278 Hey there! This is my first sewing pattern review and it’s for McCalls 6278 (OOP) view C. Difficulty: EasyThis is classified as an easy pattern, but the side panels are a bit challenging due to the sharp corners. Other than that, everything else was straight forward. Techniques: I used a 22 inch invisible zipper. I installed it easily with a regular zipper foot, but I’m looking forward to getting my invisible zipper foot tomorrow! Size and Fit: I cut the size 12 and added 2 inches to the length. I’m 5’9″ and needed to make sure this dress would be work appropriate. It fits me snugly and perfectly. Fabric: I used Black Stretch Poplin and Stretch Poplin Carnation Black/Pink from Fabric.com. I don’t see it on the site, but check back as they might restock.I love the way this dress fits and i’d love to make it again in a double knit!
