Sewing Pattern Questions
I am new to sewing, how do I get started?
Welcome to sewing! There are free tutorials you can find on the blog for learning the foundational sewing skills needed to sew your own clothing. I’ve also got a virtual workshop available especially for beginners. It’s a more structured program that guides you from selecting your sewing machine, essentials tools, learning how to read sewing patterns, all the way through completion your first project!
How do I figure out what size I need on sewing patterns?
A size chart is included with each pattern. All sizes that the pattern comes in is included in the pattern. Simply choose the size that best fits your body measurements. If you find that you cover more than one size, you can blend between sizes where needed. If this is your first time using our patterns, we recommend sewing a test garment to determine your fitting adjustments.
Where are the sew along videos?
Many of our patterns come with video sew alongs available on the blog. Additionally, we’ve got more detailed virtual workshops available for some of our patterns for makers who are learning to stretch their skills while completing their project.
What cup size and height are your patterns drafted for?”
Our patterns are drafted to fit a C cup with a height of 5’7″ (170cm).
How do I access my PDF patterns?
Immediately after checking out, you will see a page with links to your digital download patterns. You can also create an account/log in to access your purchases. (This applies to orders made after July 2021.)If you created/signed into your account at checkout, you will also see your orders and downloads in your account dashboard. You will also receive an email receipt with your download links for your digital content downloads.

How do I assemble my PDF pattern?

I placed an order, but never got a receipt or confirmation.
Please check all of your primary email address accounts inbox and spam folders.
If you are unable to locate your confirmation, it is possible a typo was made in your email address during ordering. Please contact us and include the name and date of your order and we will take care of it!
What Shipping Methods Are Available?
We aim to provide the most affordable and accessible shipping carriers and have chosen the United States Postal Service as our primary carrier. Some international customers may see additional carriers during checkout if there is a more affordable rate available.
What are your shipping times?
We process orders containing digital and virtual products immediately. We prepare orders containing shippable goods for shipping within 3 business days, Monday – Friday.
Do You Ship Internationally?
Yes, we do! In addition to our United States service area, we ship to Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
I received notice that my package was shipped, but it hasn’t arrived.
USPS is currently experiencing delays due to unprecedented mail volume and staffing issues globally due to COVID restrictions. Please allow up to 5-7 business days from the date you received notice of shipment for the United States Post Office to deliver your package.
USPS says my package was delivered, but I don’t have it.
If your package is noted as delivered in the postal tracking system, please use this link to contact USPS to arrange delivery, or file a claim, if necessary. Style Sew Me Patterns is not responsible for a package that has been confirmed as delivered by the postal service.
Style Sew Me Patterns assumes a customer has provided their correct shipping information upon order. If a package is lost or delayed due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, please coordinate delivery with your local carrier.
If you are unsuccessful in coordinating delivery, you must place a new order. Style Sew Me Patterns is not responsible for lost packages, mis-delivered mail, or shipment delays due to an incorrect address. If the carrier returns your package to us, you will be refunded the amount of the original order, minus shipping fees.
What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
We process payments through Stripe (credit/debit) and Paypal. Your payment information is securely processed through those vendors and are not stored on our site, nor visible to our teams.
How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?
We will cancel any order that has not been processed. Please contact us for assistance. We are unable to cancel an order that has already been shipped.
In the event that an address is incorrect, and the order has already been shipped, the package must complete its transit prior to receiving a refund, minus shipping. Alternatively, you may contact the carrier with your tracking number to arrange delivery to the correct address.
I want to return my purchase! What do I do?
We accept returns on new, unopened printed patterns. Please contact us to request a return authorization.
If the order needs to be returned due to our error, we will provide a return label to you via email. If there was no error on our part, you may return your package at your expense. When the package reaches our studio, we will inspect the package for acceptance. If the package is unopened and in original condition, we will refund your order accordingly.
If an order needs to be returned due to our error, we will refund the order, plus shipping where applicable. Otherwise, the order will be refunded, minus shipping fees where applicable.
Any orders returned to us without a return authorization will, by default, be refunded minus shipping fees.
Our digital products, such as virtual workshops, ebooks, and digital download sewing patterns are not eligible for refunds due to the digital nature of the product.
